The purpose of this blog is to share some of the ESL activities that I have done with my students. My hope is that this can help provide some ideas for other ESL teachers and to simply share the work, ideas, and thoughts of my Korean students.

1st year Boys: Make your own club poster (Class 1-3)
This week with my 1st year students I had them make a small poster to advertise a club of their choosing. The poster had to include the club's name, when the club meets (the day), where the club meets, the time that the club meets, and 2-3 reasons why students should join the club. The students then had to present their poster and try to "advertise" their club to their classmates. The following pictures are from a class of boys.
This one was obviously a joke but I found it funny nonetheless... particularly the stick-man's crying and "broken hearts".

Welcome!
I am creating this blog in order to share some of the work that I've had my students do in my English as a Second Language (ESL) classes with them. The school is located in Mokpo, South Korea and there are three grade levels. The students are ages 13 to 15 (that is 14 to 16 Korean age).
I hope that you find their work just as entertaining as I do!!
